From the two European concerts in Budapest there will be a well-known singer from Cameroon, the bassist Richard Bona, Dee Dee Bridgewater, one of the most respected jazz singers in the world, Alfredo Rodriguez, a Cuban pianist-virtuoso, a Hungarian descent young jazz guitarist and now world famous Andreas Varady. Quincy Jones ranked Radics Gigi among the world’s best voices who personally invited her to the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2012. They will meet again in Budapest. Another performer of the concert will be the Budafok Dohnányi Orchestra.

From 29th June until 1st July, the best of three different disciplines measure their knowledge at Kincsem Park. Main programs for the 3 days: 4th Greyhound Derby on Firday, 104th Hungarian Trotter Derby the 96th Hungarian Derby. This year’s specialty is that five lucky visitors can participate in the Sunday Civil Derby where they can experience the unforgettable excitement of the trotting competition in a two-wheeled racing car with a professional driver. For the first time they will host the Celeb Derby on Saturday where you can support your favorite actresses, athletes, bloggers. On Friday the younger generation can participate at the Poni Derby. The entry for the event is free of charge on Friday, on Saturdays and Sundays for adults cost 1500 HUF, you can also get your ticket online for 1000 HUF. Entry under 18 is free of charge!

The first Hungarian Grand Prix was held on 21th June 1936 over a 3.1-mile (5.0 km) track laid out in Népliget, a park in Budapest. The Mercedes-Benz, Auto Union, and the Alfa Romeo-equipped Ferrari teams all sent three cars and the event drew a very large crowd. More informaticon here.
