1.Advent Feast at Basilica
The fascinating Christmas market in the heart of Budapest offers plenty of new experiences during the holiday. Next to the St Stephen’s Basilica the square is full of Hungarian specialties: handmade products of artisans, chimney cakes, mulled wine and punch. With light show and a special video mapping on the monumental façade guarantees an unforgettable time. It’s waiting everybody with a free, 200 square metres skating rink, a warm hütte and festive cultural and charity programs. It’s evoking the Christmas feeling for sure.

2. Advent in the Castle Garden Bazaar
For the second time the Castle Garden Bazaar transforms into a Christmas Wonderland. The Hello Wood team built a lovely miniature city, which brings alive all of the uniqueness and beauty of Budapest. The gastronomy responsible of the event is the Food Truck Catering, who brings the most exciting food truck courses of the year. Everyone finds their fitting programmes as they can choose between arts and crafts, barn dance and shows of famous Hungarian performers. In addition to this we can skate and delight in the outstanding panorama of the city in a transparent tent in the centre of the square.

3.Advent Budapest
The Winter Festival and Christmas Market at the Városháza Park is a real jewel-box in this time of the year. It is worth to see its outstanding lights, the biggest Christmas tree of the city and the huge Advent wreath. Besides of the best Hungarian handmade products the traditional rural gastronomy is the highlight of the Christmas market.

4.Christmas and Advent Market at Vörösmarty Square
Without any doubt this is the most famous Christmas Market in Budapest. In every year one of the biggest squares of the gives home to the best quality of arts and food. It’s so beautiful that it was listed among the Best Ten Markets in Europe.

5.Nutcracker Festival
This magical festival in front of the Opera House enchants us into a classical festive mood. The 10 meters tall Christmas tree, the life-sized sledge and the Nutcracker figure makes it real special. Besid of this we can hear lovely chore concerts as well.
